1. Data we collect
Through the form on this page, we collect:
- Email address
- Country of residence
We do not collect any other personal data through this form, nor any special category data (health, religious or political beliefs, etc.).
2. Purpose of processing
We use your data to:
- Manage your sign-up to the OWENHARBOR waitlist
- Send you updates about the development of the project
- Understand which countries our community comes from, so we can tailor our communications better
We do not use your data for any purpose other than those listed above, and we do not use it to create automated profiles that produce effects on you.
3. Legal basis
Processing is based on your explicit consent, given by checking the corresponding box when filling out the form (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
4. Data retention
We will keep your data for as long as you do not withdraw your consent (i.e., for as long as you remain subscribed), and at most until it is no longer necessary for the purposes stated above. If you unsubscribe, we delete your data from our active lists, except where we must keep a minimal record (e.g., proof of unsubscription) for the legally required period.
5. Recipients and data processors
To manage the sending of communications, we use third-party services that act as data processors on our behalf, under contract and in accordance with the GDPR:
- GoDaddy (website hosting)
- Google Workspace (corporate email and sending of communications)
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes unrelated to OWENHARBOR.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your data to the same standard as the GDPR.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Object to processing or restrict it
- Port your data to another provider
- Withdraw your consent at any time

If you believe we have not properly handled your request, you have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) (www.aepd.es).
8. Minors
This form is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or in our services. Any relevant changes will be published on this same page, indicating the date of the last update.
